Bachelor's degree in a science related field plus two (2) years of experience in research laboratory testing and analysis required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must have excellent computer skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite at a high level of proficiency is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with incarcerated individuals.
Must be able to drive for in-state travel.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of human subjects’ behavioral research. Experience conducting research with vulnerable populations in the area of traumatic stress ( i.e., incarcerated persons, people with PTSD) is also desirable.
Previous experience working with persons living with mental illness in a professional capacity. Proficiency with online survey software (REDCap, Qualtrics).

Responsibilities:
Implement research and project protocols as directed by the PI.
Recruits and maintains communication with research participants.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes research data as necessary.
Creates, updates, and maintains research databases.
Ensures data is accurate, secure, and meets institutional requirements.
Initiates and maintains human subject approvals under the direction of the PI.
Monitors compliance with ethical standards and institutional regulations.
Leads and work closely with interdisciplinary team members, including faculty, staff, and students.
Supports project activities by collaborating with team members and external partners.
Provides administrative and operational support to ongoing research projects.
Assists with the preparation of reports, presentations, and grant applications as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
